Meet Dai - The Heart Behind MYEI
Daiana, known to many as Dai, is the founder of MYEI – My Emotional Intelligence. With a name that reflects her multicultural roots, Paraguayan and Taiwanese, Dai brings a beautifully unique perspective to the work she does in human connection, personal development, and growth.
Dai’s passion for understanding people started early. Growing up in a multilingual and multicultural household meant constantly adapting to different cultural expectations, emotional norms, and communication styles. This rich blend of life experience naturally led her to explore the deeper science of human behavior, social, and emotional intelligence.
Dai studied Social Science at RMIT University, where she specialised in Translation and Interpreting across English, Spanish, and Mandarin. Her academic path deepened her appreciation for not just language, but for meaning, perspective, and human nuance, all of which now inform her approach as a coach, educator, and consultant.
Professionally, Dai is a certified Social and Emotional Intelligence Coach through the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence (ISEI), an Extended DISC accredited Practitioner, a graduate of the intensive leadership program offered by Women & Leadership Australia, along with further coaching development from People Builders. Her experience spans one-on-one coaching, team development, profiling, and facilitating workshops designed to create real and lasting transformation.
Dai also brings a strong foundation in people engagement and service excellence across both the public and private sectors. In government, she has led high-impact employee engagement initiatives with a strong service orientation. In her years in the private sector, she has delivered exceptional engagement experiences to a wide range of clients, including high-calibre professionals. This unique blend of experience provides her with a rare depth of perspective in understanding what people need to feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
Through MYEI, Dai helps individuals and organisations harness the power of emotional intelligence and human behaviour to grow, connect, and lead with authenticity. Her approach is grounded in neuroscience, shaped by real-life case studies, offering practical implementation tools for sustainable change, and always infused with a sense of safety, empathy, and empowerment.
At the heart of her work is a simple belief: When people grow, everything around them grows too.
